I don't want you to worry about what it looks like down the road About what happens when we are old I don't want you to think about the kids that we might have About how long we might last Money don't matter, fights don't last long I swear that when I'm right I'll tell you that your wrong So I'll make you a promise that for as long as we have left Everyday will be like the first day we met. I don't want you to care about the love being lost About what happens when it stops I don't want you to wonder how it is that we'll survive Or the work we mightn't find Mistakes they don't matter, problems are solved I swear if you start dragging I won't be dragged along And I'll make you a promise that for as long as we have left Everyday will be like the first day we met. I don't want you to think that I'll start minding when your out Because I'll never be aloud I don't want you to think that I'd start acting like a kid I'd leave before I did Direction don't matter, we'll let the wind blow I swear when your dick I'll be the first to let you know Because I'm making you a promise that for as long as we have left Everyday will be like the first day we met.

I remember those nights we'd drive home in that big old car the street lamps flashing by like shooting stars the silence, ambiance, so comfortable you'd smile put your hand on my shoulder say son, don't make my mistakes don't follow my path I started to late, its not fate, you don't need to do what I have you won't know till your old, how life works but still I've gotta try, n'if you'd just listen you'd be king of the hill Pull over the car, get out and look at the stars Son your so very small, but you could have it all. You grew older I grew bolder thought I knew it all the game how it was played, how to set up for the fall how to lead how to succeed, I was a kid without a care and ego I couldn't see so it was a good job you were still there and all it took was a look and some simple words and once again I was ten and we were stood at the edge of the world we just chill, just watch a film or play a video game I was lost, and you knew it but you loved me all the same Pull over the the car, get out and look at the stars Son your so very small, but you could have it all. You'd tell me about space, about worlds much bigger than this, about galaxies and light speed and then you'd give me a kiss and squeeze, I couldn't breath, but I felt so safe, your warmth, so tall, the scratch of your stubble on my face remember, and hold on, to everything I have said, and if sometimes it seems hard, remember that its all in your head it's not luck, your just as good, just as strong as anyone Someday you'll be a man and you'll shine brighter than the sun Pull over the car, get out and look at the stars Son, your so very small, but you could have it all. Here, Here we are, in this big old car...just daring to breath.

Such a silly girl in such a big bad world she's got bats in her eyelashes and gold in her curls and if you give her a smile, she'll give you a twirl and then so much more than that With a fist full of hair she light up the dancefloor She likes what she gets and gets what she asks for Attention and a helping hand or A place to stay the night The pastel shirt on the pale boy Wants a man to treat him like a playground toy His pouty lips and his eyes so coy And his back turned to the world He's asked his age and he tells his lies And with a fistful of cash he closes his eyes It's a lot if he's lucky and he is lucky sometimes So he wears bruises like tattoos Got run.... Gotta run.... Gonna come..... Then it all goes dark She's lost her hair and she's clinging on To a man who loves her like a loaded gun And when the shot rings out he says it's just for fun She's frightened but alone In her heart she knows, but she'll never leave She's seen to many branches snap on too many trees So she let her pain slip beneath her tears And closes the door on it Dissolutions, no conclusions An empty bar playing country music Each new beer brings a new solution A different shade of paint And each new night stumble home Midnight strikes and bells toll Vomit falls and eyes close And it all begins again

Wasteland 02:53
In the wasteland, there are diamonds scattered on the floor. No-one sees them, cause their broken they don't shine anymore abandoned buildings full of pretty things broken picture frames fractured families Polaroid memories no-one knows their names when the sun finally goes down, you'll have nothing left so if you love him, you should tell him so, and forget In the darkness theres a goddess all dressed in white She sees your hidden scars, sees you as you are she sees your whole life That time you spoke too soon, beneath the full moon and let down a friend that night you took your time and let the stars align and set about an end by the time the leaves fall from the trees, it'll be too late if you want to kiss him, you should, but don't delay Amidst the heavy fog, there is a lost dog he's crying out much like you did, but as a scared kid you were to scared to shout what do you fear now, can you talk aloud can you open up are you still lost, or are you star crossed is it hard to talk Soon you will be old, and your tears will be ice so if you want to fuck him, you should, but close your eyes In the swamp grass theres a carcass full of rats and lice once a fretful soul, now a warm home now a swell of life and what you cant see is thats what you'll be and someday soon and your pain will cease and you will find peace humming a worldly tune You shouldn't wait, no you've waited long enough, if you want him dead, then kill him, best of luck

I felt the call through the blue grey afternoon A whistle and a hum and the most beautiful tune So I sat on the crumbling window ledge The sun lit up my face and settled in my chest I saw it all again, I saw the walks we'd take I saw the empty hunks of steel on the abandoned railway I saw it as it was, the songs that went unsung I saw the patch of dying we set alight when we were young I felt the call of the brand new stretch of road The commuter and the homeowner who's stretch of land was sold The protesters horn and the consequential screech The angry birds and frightened hares and the honey bees I saw woman that the newsman terrified How she won't look a sweatshirt directly in the eye She used glance, but now she's to blind see That if she's kept of the streets she'll watch twice as much tv. The speciality that stands grazing in a field It's not a friend or animal it's an un eaten meal The hopeful thing with feathers drifting through the sky Not a scientific wonder, just a way to survive and The nursery school teacher, with whom I had my first crush Now struggles up the steps of the number 40 bus And lollipop lady who used to help me cross the road Has long since retired cause she couldn't stand the cold I saw a time for spending and I saw a time to save But it depended on the angle it depended on the day There was a trick of light and a change of scene And what would have passed for foolishness now seemed like bravery I saw honesty in fiction and falsity in truth Life lessons in literature and bullshit in the news Aliens exist and Jesus was a lie And then nothing seemed and no one seems to cry

DOWNLOAD FOR FREE, OR WHATEVER PRICE YOU WOULD LIKE TO PAY.

Both 'Seize the Day' and 'The Stuff of Youth,' had, at least to me, a common theme running through them, and I had in mind when making them a singular idea or concept; for 'Dare to Breathe' I had nothing of the sort. The songs range from personal reflections on the past to thoughts about the state of life and the future, to tales of young people who deal with their emotional insecurity by forming unhealthy and destructive sexual bonds so...yeah. As always if you like it, please please please share it, post it on twitter, on facebook, and who knows, maybe your friends will like it too.
